Dear Colleagues,

It is truly a privilege to serve as President of the Council for Exceptional Children Palm Beach Chapter #0200.  I am very fortunate to serve amongst dedicated and committed professionals, administrators, educators and support service providers here in Palm Beach County.  I am thankful to be a part of an organization committed to celebrating diversity, care, and respect for all mankind.  

 

As the President of the Council for Exceptional Children Palm Beach Chapter #0200, I believe it is essential to provide members of the organization with learning opportunities advancing the success of children with exceptionalities. My goal is to assist members of this community as we strive to provide quality, research based learning opportunities to students in Exceptional Education Programs.

 

As each year goes by, Palm Beach chapter #0200 tries to make an impact in the lives of students with exceptional needs. Our mission is to move our educational system forward by providing educators and students the opportunity to increase their knowledge and to serve through professional development and community service. 

 

Palm Beach Chapter #0200 is very passionate about meeting the needs of our most exceptional students and providing them to the resources to continue their education after high school. Each year, we award scholarships to students who are graduating from high school and looking at post-secondary learning opportunities, and by providing grants to students for summer camps. We also host our annual awards ceremony to honor our phenomenal educators, administrators and paraprofessionals who spend countless hours serving our students in and outside of the classroom. 

 

Together, as a community and organization, we can continue to provide more meaningful and equitable opportunities for individuals with exceptional needs through inclusion and collaboration. I look forward to working alongside you as we continue to accomplish this mission through advocacy, standards, and professional development.
